A driver was stabbed dead by a neighbor whom he accused of wanting his wife while he and his son were playing games inside their home in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

Alberto Pangilinan, 34, of 2154 Ampatuan Compound, Oroquieta,  Sta. Cruz, died instantly due to stab wounds in the body.

Suspect Enrique Ronquillo, 34, who happens to be the victim’s neighbor, escaped. He is now being hunted by the police.

SPO2 Ronald Gallo of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said the incident happened at around 9 p.m.  inside the victim’s home.

Investigation showed that prior to the stabbing, the victim confronted the suspect for throwing lascivious looks at his wife everytime he is not around.

At the height of the confrontation, the suspect left while the victim went home and decided to play games with his nine-year-old son Alzen.

The victim and his son were surprised when the suspect suddenly appeared, armed with a knife and stabbed the victim several times. He then escaped after making sure the victim was dead.

The victim’s wife was not at home when the stabbing incident took place.
