A 39-YEAR-OLD driver said to be involved in illegal drug trafficking in Central Luzon was arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency after he sold 25 grams of shabu valued at P125,000 to an undercover officer in San Fernando City, Pampanga, last Tuesday.
David Lucea Jr., a resident of 12 Lincoln Street, Cuesta Verde, Antipolo City, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday by members of the PDEA Regional Office 3 under Director Jeoffrey Tacio after he sold the drugs to the poseur at the parking lot of a popular shopping mall in San Fernando City.
A gray Toyota Innova (ZHK-498) used by the suspect to deliver the drugs was impounded by the PDEA.
Lucea is now facing non-bailable charges for sale of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, said PDEA chair Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac Jr.
