ABRA — A driver was shot dead by two identified gunmen in Bgy. Sagap, Bangued at around 5 p.m. the other day.

Police identified the victim as Elmer Ermino Bonete Galera, 45, married, and the suspects as Larry Dagaang Galera, 37, and Lebert Dagaang Galera, 31, all of Bgy. Sagap.

Investigators said the victim was unloading his passengers when the suspects suddenly appeared and shot him in his chest and neck. The suspects fled  after the incident.

The victim’s body was brought to Pineda Funeral Parlor for autopsy.

Responding personnel of Bangued Police Station recovered an empty shell for cal. 5.56 and two fired empty shells for cal. .45 at the scene. Police are still investigating the incident.
