A DRUNK pedicab driver was hacked dead by a still unknown male suspect yesterday morning in Tondo, Manila.
Marquito Onsing, 47, of Chesa Street, Tondo, Manila, was found dead in a pool of blood at the corner of Chesa Street and Road 10 at 1:40 a.m. by a female resident in the area.
SPO3 Rodelio Lingcong of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said the resident asked pedicab driver Reynald Arrogancia to inform the barangay authorities and the victim was rushed to the hospital.
Prior to this, the victim was reportedly seen drunk and challenging everyone in sight to a fight.
Meanwhile, an unidentified man was also found dead at an alley in Sta. Cruz, Manila the other day.
The victim, said to be between 40 and 45 years old, reportedly had a huge wound in the head and face also caused by hacking. He bore tattoos in the right arm that said “Jun Decal” and “Cassandra Nathaniel April”.
PO3 Abdol Aceveda of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said the victim’s body was seen by SPO3 Dante Fabro of the Manila Traffic Enforcement Group lying at an alley near the corner of Tomas Mapua and Batangas Streets in Sta. Cruz at around 8 a.m.
