A day after a family of three was fired upon by motorcycle-riding suspects, a couple was shot dead the other day also by riding-in-tandem suspects in Tondo, Manila, while they were quietly cooking their dinner

Dead on the spot were Sonny Boy Santos, 46, and his live-in partner Marivic Infante, 37, both of 231 H. Lopez St., Ba-lut, Tondo.

The suspects, who fled aboard their plateless motorcycle, remain unknown as well as the motive behind the killing.

Det. Richard Escarlan of the Manila Police District (MPD)-Homicide Section said the incident took place at around 4:30 p.m. in front of the couple’s home.

Reportedly, the couple was cooking dinner when the suspects’ motorcycle stopped in front of their house and then sprayed them with bullets. Santos was hit in the neck while Infante took a bullet in the head.

The day before this, a family of  three was also shot, also by two men aboard a motorcycle while they were cruising in Tondo, Manila, killing the mother and critically injuring the father. Luckily, their four-year-old son survived.

The victims were all aboard a motorcycle and were on their way home when the suspects fired at them at the corner of Moriones  and Franco  Streets in Tondo.
