AUTHORITIES have launched a massive hunt for a lone gunman who shot and seriously wounded a policeman and a “habal-habal” driver in Cebu City Tuesday.

 

The suspect first shot the unidentified driver on N. Bacalso Avenue at 2:15 a.m., attracting the attention of two patrolling policemen Police Officers 1 Richard Salceda and Julius Bulado.

 

While approaching the scene, the gunman opened fire at the officers in front of the Prince Warehouse, hitting Salceda in the leg.

 

Bulado said he tried to go after the suspect but the latter ran towards the nearby St. Jude Acres where he boarded a motorcycle and fled.

 

Salceda and the dri-ver were taken to the Cebu City Medical Center for treatment.
