MANILA – Taguig City mayoralty candidate Rica Tinga today filed a complaint for election-related violence against rival, Mayor Lani Cayetano, before the Commission on Elections (Comelec)

The complaint was filed against Cayetano and members of the city’s Public Order and Safety Office (POSO).

This is in connection with the bloody incident between the POSO and Tinga’s supporters who were engaged in a campaign outside city hall over the weekend.

Tinga’s supporters alleged that POSO staff attacked them.

In a statement, Tinga challenged Cayetano to produce the CCTV footage of the area.

The Comelec last Monday said it is considering declaring Taguig an area of immediate concern.
