A businessman was killed inside his catering house, while a young man was wounded in two separate gun attacks in Tetuan and Recodo last Thursday night and yesterday morning.
The fatality was identified as Lucio Agustin y Dinglasa, 50, married of Cadena Amor, Guiwan. He sustained two bullet wounds in the back of the body and was taken to the Zamboanga Doctors Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
A police report disclosed that Agustin was inside his catering house around 10 p.m. when a gunman appeared and shot him several times.
The gunman disappeared while the victim was rushed to the hospital by concerned people.
Recovered from the crime scene were three spent shells and one deformed slug of .45 caliber pistol.
In another incident, Johny Espinosa, 21, of Tugbungan was shot and wounded by an unidentified man in Recodo yesterday morning.
A sketchy report disclosed that Espinosa was in Recodo around 5 a.m. when a gunman shot him.
Police were still investigating the two incidents.
