MANILA, Philippines — Four suspected members of a carjacking ring were arrested in Sta. Cruz, Manila for a series of motorcycle thefts in the city.

Manila Police District operatives said the suspects, Kahlil Hebram, Marvin Christian Morebo, Erwin Bermudez, and Omar Diamla, were also involved in highway robbery.

The gang reportedly takes motorcycles at gunpoint.

Police first arrested Hebram, who told them of the whereabouts of the other suspects.

A motorcycle police said was stolen and a .45 caliber handgun were seized during the operation.
