According to SPO1 Gerry Rivera of the Manila Police District, the cab driver and a private vehicle figured in a traffic altercation which turned into a violent shooting.

The taxi driver, who was identified as Tom Tegalado, was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital.

Regalado’s cab, however, was left at the corner of UN Avenue and MH del Pilar Street in Ermita, Manila. According to reports, its right window and windshield were broken.

Authorities said they will continue to conduct an investigation to determine the root of the incident. – from a report by Dennis Datu, dzMM
