MANILA, Philippines – A passenger bus traversing EDSA was robbed by four armed teenagers early Saturday.

According to the driver of the MetroLink Bus (TVT-568) Carlos Assi, the suspects boarded the bus in Guadalupe.

They then declared a robbery as the bus approached White Plains in Quezon City.

Assi said most of the passengers had their valuables taken from them.

He added that two of the passengers sustained minor injuries after they refused to surrender their cellphones.

Police have yet to determine the amount of cash and valuables taken by the suspects, who remain at large. They were reportedly armed with guns and knives. — Report from Eric Dastas, dzMM
