Manila, Philippines – Two burglars were killed in a shootout with police who foiled an attempted break-in of a home in Quezon City before dawn yesterday.
Superintendent Norberto Babaga, commander of the Quezon City Police District’s (QCPD) Station 11, said they have yet to identify the two slain suspects who attempted the robbery at around 1:45 a.m. into the home of the Damian family located along 10th St., Barangay Mariana, Quezon City.
He described both of the suspects as between 25 to 30 years old, medium built, fair complexion, and standing 5’4”.
One of the slain suspects has the tattoo “BNG” (bahala na gang) inscribed on his back and wore a
black t-shirt and black pants.
While, the other slain suspect had the tattoo “Boyet A” on his back and wore a brown t-shirt and black pants.
Babagay said found in the possession from one of the suspects was a .38 caliber revolver while a bolt cutter was found lying on the ground some 15 meters away from the Damian house.
On the other hand, Babagay said that a third suspect managed to escape aboard a blue tricycle that was used by the burglars.
The police official learned that the Damian residence got robbed twice in the past and, in both incidents, household members were all got tied up.
