FOUR heavily-armed men believed to be members of the so-called “Bundol” gang made a scene by hitting three vehicles before taking away a luxury car in Antipolo City yesterday.
At gunpoint, the suspects took the white Mitsubishi Lancer of Edmundo Palacio, 35, of Catherine Street, Maries Village, Barangay Mayamot and sped off towards Quezon City. Prior to this, the suspects riding a green Toyota Corolla (WEM-634) bumped a Honda Civic driven by Eric Manuel Lazaro, of El Dorado, Barangay San Jose. Due to the impact, the Honda car rammed a taxi that also hit an Isuzu Highlander driven by Emeliano Bragais, of Barangay Bagong Nayon, Antipolo City. While the drivers were arguing, the four suspects approached Palacio and ordered him at gunpoint to step out of the car. The suspects abandoned their car in the area before fleeing. Recovered inside the car were 13 pieces of M-203 grenade rifles and several documents. Police are tracking down the new group of car thieves operating in the metropolis and nearby provinces. |
