A MAN was found dead, his head shattered by a bullet fired by a still unknown suspect yesterday morning in Port Area, Manila.                                                                

Antonio Santos, of  194 Rizal St., Poblacion VII, Cavite City, was found dead at around 5:30 a.m. at Block 1 Dubai, Baseco Compound in Port Area, Manila.

Det. Glenzor Vallejo of the MPD-homicide section said the suspect and the motive behind the slay remains unknown.                                                                                  

Barangay watchmen Hansel Paneso and Randy Escote, who were then both on duty when the incident took place, said they responded to the scene upon receiving information that a dead man had been found in the area.                                  

Initial investigation showed that victim is not a resident in the area and may have just dropped by to pay someone a visit.
