MANILA – A man was robbed and then shot dead in Quezon City on Thursday evening.

The victim, identified as Reynaldo Arbon, was shot dead near his home by motorcycle-riding gunmen at around 9 p.m.

A relative said Arbon, considered as the breadwinner of his family, owns a money lending business.

The victim’s bag, supposedly containing cash, was already missing. This led the victim’s relatives and police to suspect that robbery was behind the killing.

No one saw the faces of the suspects who wore helmets. – report from Jacque Manabat, ABS-CBN News
