Boy hit by stray bullet from 2 warring gangs

 16-year-old boy was hit by a stray bullet from two warring gangs in Quezon City Monday night.

The victim, identified as Crisanto Sanchez, of Lower Sto. Niño St., Payatas A, is still undergoing treatment for a bullet wound at East Avenue Medical Center. 

Case investigator SPO1 Roldan dela Cruz, of the Quezon City Police District Station 6. said the incident occurred at the corner of Lower Sto. Niño St. and San Lucas St., Payatas B, at around 10:30 p.m.

Witnesses told the police that the victim was standing at the street corner when a group of teenagers suddenly stage a riot. 

At the height of the rumble, one of the gang members suddenly fired an improvised shotgun at the direction of rival gang. 

No one was hurt on the gang members but a stray bullet hit the victim.
