CEBU, Philippines – A 15-year-old boy was arrested after getting caught in the act of selling alleged shabu Sunday afternoon in sitio Centro in barangay Labogon, Mandaue City.

The juvenile had sold shabu to a poseur buyer.

He also yielded more shabu and a lighter when frisked.

Basak police station chief, P Sr./Insp. Wilson Abot said an uncle of the juvenile is in prison for a similar offense while another uncle is on the run after killing a boxer months ago.

When the two men disappeared, the juvenile took over the business, Abot said.

“Human nga mawagtang iyang mga uyuan diha sa ilang lugar mao na niy nipuli og pagpamaligya apan sa una, kanunay na pud ni siyang sugu-sugoon sa iyang mga uyuan,” Abot said.

The juvenile was turned over to the City Social Welfare Service Office but was brought back to the Basak police station for “temporary shelter” since the CSWO is congested.

Cases for violation of Section 11 and 12 of the R. A. 9165 were filed against the minor in the City Prosecutor’s Office yesterday morning.  (FREEMAN)
