On July 30, 2013 at about 9:05 AM, one Eylan Sulan Y Alburo, 28 years old, single, of Barangay Cainglet, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay reported to Kabasalan police station that they were held – up by three unidentified persons along the residence of Mrs. Athea Amil legal age, married, of Barangay Salipyasin, Kabasalan Zamboanga Sibugay.

 
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that Mr. Reylan Sulan a collector of Masa lending services conducted a meeting with his members/barrowers for collection of their payments at the residence of Mrs. Athea Amil one person wearing dirty white t-shirt and brown long pants wearing bonnet armed with improvised shotgun approached them and declared hold-up while two other suspect who served as a look out took his bag containing passbooks of the members, calculators, and loan application forms.
Suspects fled towards unknown direction bringing along their loot.
According to the victims, there was no cash money taken by the suspects.
Responding elements of Kabasalan police station conducted hot pursuit but failed to locate the suspects.
Investigators of Kabasalan police station are still conducting deeper investigation to locate and determine the possible identities/arrest of the suspects for prior filing of appropriate charges in court.
