A RICE mill employee was shot by his boss  during a drinking session Saturday night in Las Piñas City. 

Victim Ariel Estela, 20, helper at Lajara Rice Mill Store at  Phase 1, Saint Louie Village, Talon 3, Las Piñas was listed in critical condition at the Perpetual Help Hospital due to a bullet wound in the chest. 

Policemen recovered the .45 caliber pistol used by Louie Lajara who immediately escaped after the incident. 

Investigation by PO3 Ariel Gupana showed that both the suspect and the victim were having a  drinking session with other employees. At about 10:30 p.m., Lajara went mad and shot Estela. 

Philip Mangawang, who witnessed the incident, said they did not hear the gunshot but saw the suspect fall to the ground.
