A MAN was killed while his neighbor was wounded in a shooting incident in barangay Dumlog, Toledo City , southwest Cebu on Thursday.

Police identified the fatality as Julius Deato, 26. Jimmy Barazon, 43, was wounded in the chest. 

Police said the two victims worked in a beach resort owned by Roldan Cansancio.

Barazon was sitting in front of his house when two bonnet-wearing men arrived and shot him.

The assailants then went to the house of Deato where bursts of gunfire were heard. Deato was later found dead at home.

Barazon was rushed to a hospital.

Police are still investigating the incident./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
