Burglars hit a house in barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City last Sunday and fled with at least P500,000 worth of valuables and cash.

Engineer Rogelio Lim and his wife, Alice, reported the incident to police after they discovered it Sunday morning.

Mabolo police said the perpetrators could have struck at past 3 a.m. when the Lim family were sleeping.

The burglars destroyed the screen door to enter the house at the Yap Compound, Bauhinia Drive.

The Lims told police that the burglars took P400,00 worth of Rolex watch, a P30,000 worth of iPhone 5 cellphone, a Blackberry cellphone worth P10,000, a Valley leather bag worth P12,000, a Prada wallet worth P20,000 and a Tod’s wallet worth P15,000. Perpetrators also stole a wallet that contained cash worth of P1,000 and another cash worth US $150. /Correspondent Tweeny M. Malinao
