THE cashier of the barely three-month-old Corridor 3 video karaoke bar was shot dead by an unidentified assailant in sitio Sangi, barangay Tabunok, Talisay City last night.

Known to her friends as Mary Ann, the cashier in her early 20s was shot in the forehead with a gun of unknown caliber.

Initial investigation revealed that drunk customers believed to be students danced on a table in the bar and were asked by the victim to go down. Minutes later, a burst of gunshot was heard.

Talisay City Police Chief Henry Biñas told CEBU DAILY NEWS that they already had leads on the perpetrator.

He said the gunman was with “a group of students with some females involved were 18 to 20 years old.”
