A MAN tagged as the most wanted drug trafficker in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao was arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in an entrapment operation in Cotabato City last Thursday, PDEA chair Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac Jr. said yesterday.
Zailanie Bagundang alias “Joko,” a 33-year-old resident of Bagua II, Cotabato City was arrested after he sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer of the PDEA-ARMM office near a hotel on Quezon Ave., Cotabato City about 1:30 p.m. last Thursday.
Local PDEA head Director Yogi Felimon Ruiz said they also confiscated from the suspect assorted empty plastic sachets, a bamboo sealer, a mobile phone and the buy-bust money.
Bagundang is now being held at the PDEA-ARMM jail in PC Hill, Cotabato City facing non-bailable charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Alfred Dalizon
