MANILA, Philippines – An alleged snatcher was killed in Novaliches, Quezon City before dawn on Monday.

The victim, identified as Erwin Daen, was found dead along Nitang Road.

Police said Daen was shot in the head. However, no bullet slug was found at the crime scene.

Relatives said Daen never went back home after being jailed for theft, leaving them clueless as to the identity of the killer.
