A 29-year old man was jailed for allegedly raping a minor in Quezon City, police said.

Rodwen Bryan Cortez allegedly raped the 13-year old victim in his house on Sunday.

After learning of the incident, the victim’s mother immediately informed the police.

Cortez was arrested after medical tests confirmed the victim had been sexually assaulted.

However, the suspect denied the accusation and said he and the girl were in a relationship.
