Akrho member stabbed dead

CEBU, Philippines – An alleged member of Alpha Kappa Rho fraternity was stabbed dead by an unidentified man in sitio Ipil-ipil Alaska, Barangay Mambaling past 10 am yesterday.
Burce Baker Adlawan, 25, a resident of Barangay Tinago succumbed to over 10 stab wounds on different parts of his body.
SPO4 Alex Dacua of the Homicide Section of the Cebu City Police Office said a tattoo that symbolizes the Akrho fraternity was seen on the victim’s hand.
Dacua said many people in the area most possibly witnessed the incident, but no one from the crime scene is willing to testify.
Dacua said that according to a confidential agent, up to four men reportedly helped in stabbing the victim. A three-edged knife was reportedly used in the crime.
Based on the information gathered by the police, a certain “Balo,” an alleged known robber, was the last person who was with Adlawan.
Dacua said they will be inclined to believe that Balo is a suspect and will file a case against him if will not appear before the police upon invitation.
Adlawan reportedly went to Alaska, Barangay Mambaling where he used to hang out with Balo. About five identification cards belonging to different persons were recovered from the victim’s pocket, Dacua said.
