CAGAYAN, Philippines –An employee of the Department of Agriculture was shot and killed by three men in Lallo, Cagayan, on Wednesday, police said.

Armando Anopani, 51, was attacked by men armed with an Armalite rifle and a .45 cal. pistol in his house in Barangay Bical, said Lal-lo police chief Senior Insp. Jacinto Tuddao.

Anopani, an employee of the DA field office in Camalaniugan town, died from bullet wounds in the head and body. Tuddao said investigators are looking at a land dispute as a possible motive in the attack.Villamor Visaya Jr., Inquirer Northern Luzon
