CRIMINAL charges were filed against actor-turned politician Patrick de la Rosa, before the Regional Trial Court of Quezon City for allegedly sexually abusing a 20-year-old college student last week in Quezon City.
In a one-page resolution dated October 8, 2010 Assistant City Prosecutor Nilda Ordono also recommended no bail for de la Rosa who is an incumbent board member of provincial government of Oriental Mindoro province.

The case stemmed from a complaint filed by the victim who claimed that the former actor sexually violated her while she was sleeping inside a room of Unit 2206, Regalia Park Tower, in Quezon City.

It was learned that prior to the incident the victim and her friends were having a drinking spree incident at the condominium unit on the evening of October 7. De la Rosa together with one male companion arrived and joined them.

The victim said that she decided to sleep inside a room after feeling dizzy between 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. of October 8.
At about 5:30 a.m., the victim claimed that she woke up and found de la Rosa already on top of her and that she felt something in her genitals.
