Actor Aljur Abrenica lost some P600,000 to burglars who broke into his house in Quezon City while he and his family were out on vacation during the Holy Week.
The unidentified thieves broke into Abrenica’s house in Barangay Holy Spirit and left it in disarray, radio dzBB reported early Monday.
Lost to the thieves were cash, jewelry and electronic items, the report said.
Initial investigation showed Abrenica and his family went on vacation last week, leaving his house last Wednesday. Abrenica insisted he locked the house doors.
When he and his family returned at 3 a.m. of Black Saturday, they found the main door forced open, and the second floor in disarray.
Many Filipinos went to the provinces to spend the Holy Week with their loved ones.
Several of them started returning last weekend, with some of them returning early Monday. —KG, GMA News
