A 79-year-old man was arrested after a 3-year-old girl identified him as the one who sexually abused her in exchange for P4 in Caloocan City.

Charged with rape was Leonido Balbosa, of Block 1, Lot 6, Pamana Salmon St., Bgy. 8, Caloocan City. 

Balbosa denied the accusation but dried bloodstains on his middle finger did not convince the probers.

The victim’s mother filed the complaint  against the suspect at the Caloocan City police Tuesday evening.

Balbosa was formally charged at the fiscal’s office yesterday morning following the completion of the victim’s medical examination.

The mother told police her daughter “Shena” went out of the house to play around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

When Shena returned  home, her mother saw bloodstains on her underwear.

Questioned, her daughter pointed to the suspect as the one who abused her.

The victim said the suspect gave her P4 to lure her to go with him.

“May nakapagsabi pang kapitbahay na nakita niyang binuhat ng matanda ang anak ko paakyat sa bahay niya tapos aarte siya na kunwari ay paika-ika pa siya,” the mother said.
