MANILA – The body of a 7-year-old girl who was raped and burned to death was found by authorities in Mexico, Pampanga.
Police said the victim was a resident of Royal Meadows Subdivision in Mexico.
Mexico Police said the victim was last seen on January 20, and did return home after playing with her friends.
Her body was found in a grassy area 200 meters away from her home on Thursday.
In a follow-up operation, police arrested Raygan Garcia Mela, a resident who lives near the area.
