A 6-YEAR-OLD girl was found dead, believed to be raped by his neighbor in Victorias City, Negros Occidental on Sunday.

Victim Alyssa, not her real name, was found lifeless at around 11 a.m. under the suspect’s bed following a search by the authorities.

Police Regional Office 4-A director Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr. identified the suspect as Ricky Gentilizo, 22, of Bgy. 16-A, New Barrio, Victorias City.

The suspect was arrested shortly after the body of the victim was found in his house.

A case for rape with homicide, a non-bailable offense will be filed against the suspect, said Victorias City police chief Supt. Alexander Muñoz.

The circumstances behind the rape with homicide case was not immediately released. However, police tightened its security on Gentilizo fearing of a possible retaliation from the victim’s angry relatives.
