MANILA – Four suspected drug pushers were killed in a police operation in Consolacion, Cebu before dawn on Thursday.
Suspects Vicente Udaya, Jerson Resma, Rene Boy Tario and Dian Sakur were killed after allegedly engaging police in a shootout in Barangay Pulpogan.
Superintendent Rodolfo Almutra said Udaya was the subject of an arrest warrant that prompted the police operation.
Two other suspected members of an illegal drug syndicate were arrested in the police operation. – report from June Perez, dzMM
