POLICE launched a manhunt for three armed men who robbed a Caltex gasoline station on E. Rodriguez Avenue, Quezon City at dawn yesterday.

Gasoline boy Samuel Lentiha said he and his co-worker were talking when a white taxi (UVC-406) arrived.

Thinking they got customers to serve, they immediately approached the car, but were surprised when its occupants pulled out a gun.

The suspects ordered them to lie down and took the P6,000 from the cash register.

The gas station’s security guard said he wanted to fight the robbers, but his firearm was defective.
