THREE persons were killed when an unidentified suspect shot them before dawn along the national highway in M’lang, North Cotabato.

The fatalities were identified as Ismael Talusan, 35, tricycle driver, his brother Alamid Talusan, 23,  and one certain  Guimbang, all residents of Bgy. Salapungan, Kabacan, in the said province.

The victims’ bullet-riddled bodies were recovered by responding members of M’lang Police along the highway.

According to Inspector Rolando Dillera, chief of M’lang police, Ismael was asked by the suspect to bring him to M’lang from Kabacan at around 10:30 p.m. on Friday.

Ismael was accompanied by his brother Alamid together with a friend identified only as Guimbang and transported the suspect to the said area.

At around 12 midnight, residents in the area heard series of gunshots and when police went to the place, they saw the dead victims.      Zaida delos Reyes-Palanca
