They were all working at Garanda Inn located in B. Morada St. Lipa City

Saralde was declared dead on arrival at Lipa Medix Hospital due to gunshot wound in his head.

Hernel and Bryan died while undergoing treatment at Mary Mediatrix Hospital for gunshot wounds in their neck and head.

According to a police report, the Lipa police station received a telephone call from a tricycle driver, informing them that a shooting incident happened inside the hotel around past 2 a.m.

Police investigators rushed to the area and found the three bloodied victims inside the cashier’s office.

Probers recovered 3 empty shells and 2 deformed slugs from a caliber 9 mm at the crime scene. A total of P10,000 in cash was discovered missing.

Aside from robbery, probers are also looking into reports that one of the victims, hotel cashier Roxas, recently had a spat with a customer after he refused to accept a gun as payment for their room charges.

“Tinitignan din namin yung anggulong binalikan si Bryan [Roxas[ ng nakaaway nyang customer kasi may pananakot pa daw na nangyari bago naganap itong pamamaril,” Birung said

Batangas Provincial Director Senior Superintendent Rosauro Acio immediately ordered a manhunt operation against the suspects who fled after the incident.
