Three alleged members of the notorious Waray-Waray group died in what police claimed was a shootout in Cainta, Rizal early Saturday.

Police Superintendent Nereo Torrecampo, Cainta chief of police, identified Darwin Capillan, 31, as one of the three men killed in a shootout with police operatives at 3:00 a.m. along Hunters Road in Barangay San Juan.

The other two remained unidentified as of noon Saturday. A fourth unidentified member of the group survived the shootout and remains at large, he said
