MANILA, Philippines — Three men were killed while another was injured in a shooting incident in Trias Gil Puyat, Dulong Duhat in Malabon City past midnight Friday.

Initial investigation of Malabon police showed that the three fatalities, identified as Melvin Luciano, Ronilo Malinao and Elmer Felipas, were having a drinking session when still unidentified suspects suddenly fired shots at them.

Another man, identified only as alias Noknok, was also injured in the incident.

Police believe the suspects knew one of the victims.

Authorities said Malinao is a member of the Siyete Bulabog Gang, the group allegedly behind a series of robbery incidents in the area.
