TARLAC City — Three members of a tricycle carnap group were arrested while their mastermind escaped during a follow-up operation on Zamora St., Bgy. San Roque, this city.
In a report to PRO3 director Chief Supt. Raul Petrasanta by Tarlac police director Senior Supt. Alfred Corpus, the aRrested suspects were identified as Dennis Antalan and Christopher Galapon, both 20 years old and single, of Bgy. Cabaruan, and Bryan Louie Galapon, of Bgy. San Roque, all of Guimba, Nueva Ecija. The run-away gang leader was identified as Charles Felipe, son of an ex-policeman.
City chief of police Supt. Bayani Razalan said thatP rior to the arrest, a certain Randy Estrada, 34, of Cabumay St., Bgy. Poblacion Sur, Paniqui, Tarlac, reported to the police that his Yamaha MIO (6897) was stolen while parked unattended in front of Batanny Christian School. A flash alarm was immediately sent to all police units in the province.
Police found out during investigation that a Yamaha MIO motorcycle was registered to a certain Ivy Gay Sabado while a red Honda TMX 155 was claimed by its owner identified as Manalo Salamida, 45, married, of Sitio Calle Onse, Bgy. San Rafael, Tarlac City. His motorcycle was stolen while parked unattended in front of AMA Computer College on Zamora St., Bgy. San Roque, this city.
The three suspects and the escapee face charges. They were detained at the Tarlac City jail.
