HREE band members and their manager were arrested after an 18-year-old model accused them of raping her in Pampanga last December 1.

Now detained are Alexander  Chica, manger of the band and a resident of Santol Street, Sta. Mesa, Manila together with band members Edward Tomas Ganete, 25, of 819 Leyte del Sur St., Sampaloc, Manila; Mark Ian Desquitado, 26, of  27 Zone 1 Barangay Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City and Edmond Latrania.

The complainant, reportedly a commercial model, said she had earlier lodged a complaint against Chica in Balibago, Angeles City, since it was only him who was actually known to her.

A probe made by PO2 Marlon Anonuevo of the Manila Police District -General Assignment Section showed the suspects were nabbed inside Chica’s home around 8 p.m. the other night.    

The victim told police the rape took place between 6 and 7 p.m. of December 1, inside Room 215 of Vistillanta Hotel at AM Florez, Bgy. Balibago in Angeles City.

The victim added she was drunk when the incident happened but could recall some details. She also expressed suspicion her drinks may have been laced with drugs which made her dizzy.  Itchie G. Cabayan
