TWO male teenagers were killed by unidentified members of a gang in two separate incidents in Davao City.
The first victim, identified as Rebegil Ansano, alias Ding-ding, 16, resident of Purok Sto. Niño, Barangay Bucana, was stabbed dead at 12:45 a.m. in Barangay Lasang Friday.
Base on investigation conducted by Senior Police Officer 2 Mariano Operario of the Bunawan Police Station, Ansano was chased by an undetermined number of teenagers in Purok Gemini, Barangay Lasang as he was walking home with his friends from a community disco party. The victim succumbed to multiple stab wounds.
His body was brought to the Rivera Funeral Homes in Bunawan while police are conducting further investigations to identify the suspects.
The second victim, identified as Edwardo Morado, alias Dondon, 22, a resident of Buhangin, was stabbed dead while he was sleeping at Osmeña Park at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Morado, who was reportedly the leader of Labong Umatras Batang Osmeña (Lubo) Gang, succumbed to a stab wound in the chest.
He was brought to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) where he was declared dead on arrival.
Danilo Alngog, duty investigator of the San Pedro Police Station, said they are still conducting investigation to identify the man behind his death. Authorities believe his death is part of a gang war. (AD)
