TWO suspected victims of summary execution stuffed in balikbayan boxes were discovered in Quezon City yesterday morning.
Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (QCPD-CIDU) chief Insp. Rodel Marcelo said the still unidentified victims could be choked to death.
The two bodies wrapped in garbage bags and packaging tape were stuffed in separate balikbayan boxes and dumped beside a barangay hall at the corner of Calamba and Cordillera Streets in Bgy. Lourdes.
Both victims were fully clothed, their hands tied with metal wire. Their bodies bore stab wounds and choke marks.
One of the victims was described as between 35 and 40 years old, wearing blue T-shirt and short pants, and had commando tattoo marks in the right leg.
Police believed the victims were killed elsewhere and dumped in the area.
