Two robbers were killed while their 16-year-old companion was arrested following a shootout with police after a robbery in a computer shop in Quezon City Thursday night.

Investigator SPO1 Rodrigo Barrameda identified the arrested suspect as Windell Rediang, 16, a resident of Block 3 Lot 25, Sto Niño, Mapayapa Village Extension, Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City.

Barrameda said that they have not yet determined the real identities of two slain suspects who were killed during an encounter with responding policemen immediately after a robbery at 9:45 p.m. at the Rodjean computer shop located at Unit 4 of the G&T Building located along Sampaguita Avenue, Mapayapa 3, Barangay Pasong Tamo.

However, Barrameda said that one robber managed to escape following the robbery incident.

Responding policemen found from the slain suspects two revolvers with live ammunition that they used during the encounter.

Policemen also recovered stolen items including four cellular phones and music player that were taken by the robbers from the victim’s computer shop caretaker Jayson Santos, 16, student Rodessa Montojo, 19; and Lemuel Navarro, 30. But the stolen P1,800 of the shop’s earnings were not recovered.
