Gun ban or no gun ban, shooting incidents are bound to happen.

This was shown in the last few days in which a policeman was killed and several others wounded in separate gun attacks.

Last Tuesday night, two men were shot and wounded in separate incidents at Upper Calarian and Sta. Barbara last Tuesday night.

The victims were identified as Alfredo Darlucio, 40, married, of Southcom Village, Upper Calarian and Alexander Palahuddin, 31, of Sta. Barbara.

A police report disclosed that Darlucio was on his way home around 11:45 p.m., when a certain Balbon appeared and shot him twice near the gate of the MIG9 headquarters. He sustained bullet wounds in the chest and left leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Around 1a.m., Palahuddin was shot by a gunman at Ayer Village, Sta. Barbara.

Initial investigation disclosed that Palahuddin and his friend, a certain Rashid, were riding tandem on a motorcycle when a gunman appeared and stopped them near the mosque.

Although wounded, Palahuddin managed to drive the motorcycle and sped away with Rashid who was still riding on the same vehicle.

The gunman disappeared after the incident.

Darlucio and Palahuddin were shot a night after a policeman was killed while his companion was wounded along Gov. Camins Avenue, this city.
