TWO employees of a mining company, including an engineer, were killed by unidentified suspects while a boy was hit by stray bullets the other day in Zamboanga City.
The fatalities were identified as Engr. Felipe Nepomuceno and Romel Dayrit, both of legal age and employees of Atro Mining.
Taken to Vitali Lying- In Clinic for treatment was Jaypee Joven, 16, who was hit in his feet.
Reports reaching Camp Crame revealed the incident occurred at around 8 p.m. in a canteen located at Sitio Mialim, Bgy Vitali, Zamboanga City.
The victims were having dinner in the canteen when the suspects on board a motorcycle shot them several times.
The victims sustained gunshot wounds in their heads that caused their instantaneous death while the boy who was standing nearby was hit in his feet.
After the incident, the suspects fled towards Bgy. Tictapul, Zamboanga City.
