Two men were shot dead in two separate incidents in Lamisahan and Recodo last Tuesday.
Police identified the fatalities as Rennie Boy Macario y Guevarra. 15, of Lamisahan and Sabri Gaini y Juljain, 22, single, of Purok 5. Recodo
A police report disclosed that Macario was sleeping in his bedroom around 9:30 p.m. when Bunaventura Ferrer, 50, broke in and shot him at close range
Macario died on the spot with a bullet wound on the forehead.
The body was brought to the Villa Funeral Parlor for post mortem examination.
A follow-up operation conducted by the Sangali police led to the arrest of Ferrer. He was detained at the police station pending the filing of charges against him in court.
Gaini’s body was discovered around 11 p.m. with a bullet wound in the body and with his face wrapped with packing tape.
Police said that Gaini have been involved in drug pushing in Recodo.
No one could tell to the police who shot Gaini.
The body was claimed by his relatives for burial service.
Meanwhile, two Other men were shot and wounded in Barangay Culabay, Tabina. Zamboanga del Sur and at Sitio Tinago, Barangay Poblacion. Talusan. Zamboanga Sibugay last week.
Wounded were Roel Gomez Teliroh. single and Moaldan Abdullah, married.
Teliron. a resident of Purok Dap-Dap. Barangay Culabay. Tabina. Zamboanga del Sur. was shot and wounded by John Suarez Tecson, 29, with the use of .45 calibcr pistol.
Police investigation showed that Tecson was resting in his residence when the Teliron and his friends stoned the roof of the house. Irked by the stoning, Tecson went out of the house and shot Teliron.
A manhunt operation was carried out for Tecson, while appropriate charges are being prepared against him for filing in court.
On the same day, Moaldan Abdullah, an employee of the Talusan Municipal Hall, was shot and wounded by an unidentified gunman.
Police said Abdullah was inside his residence when a gun man broke in and shot him once.
The assailant immediately escaped and fled toward unknown direction. Abdullah sustained a gunshot wound on his right shoulder and was rushed to the Alicia District Hospital. Zamboanga Sibugay for treatment.
