Killed were Benito Repales, 45, and Dondon Carbonilla, 38, both married.
A police report said that Repales and Carbonilla engaged in gun duel over personal dispute about 6:15 p.m.
Police said Repales and Carbonilla had engaged in a verbal tussle which ended in a fistfight.
Repales, who was knocked down, by Carbonilla went home and threatened to return with gun. Sensing Repales’ bad intention, Carbonilla also armed himself with a homemade .38 caliber revolver.
When Repales returned, a shootout broke out between wounding him and Carbonilla.
Repales sustained a gunshot wound on his chest while Carbonilla suffered multiple pellet wounds from a 12 gauge shotgun. Both were rushed to the hospital where they were declared dead on arrival.
A bystander whose name was not immediately available was wounded by stray bullet.
