ZAMBOANGA CITY – Two people were killed by a motorcycle-riding gunman after a traffic altercation early Friday morning in Zamboanga City, police said.

 

Zamboanga City police director Edwin de Ocampo said the fatalities were an Army officer and an enlisted personnel of the Philippine Air Force.

 

The suspect, who is said to be a retired police officer shot the victims following a traffic altercation on San Bernardino Bridge in the village of Guiwan around 3 a.m. Friday.

 

De Ocampo said the suspect immediately fled after the incident. (Bong Garcia/Sunnex)
