MANILA, Philippines – Two people were killed in separate shooting incidents in Baseco Compound in Tondo, Manila.
A construction worker, identified as Gener Boral, was shot in the head in Block 11 Extension on Monday evening.
Boral’s killer escaped.
On Tuesday morning, 25-year-old Rusty Salamat was also shot in the head near his house in Block 18 Extension. An improvised pistol (paltik) was found in his possession.
Police said Salamat had been sent to jail for theft.
The motive for the victims’ killings were not yet established.
