Two kids were injured in gun shooting accidents on the same day. At Isla Puting Bato, Tondo, John Mark Briones, 10, got hit by a stray bullet from an unknown gunman ushering in the New Year at noontime.

Meanwhile, Jonas Toleran, 15, of Anonas St., Kahilum II, Pandacan, was injured at 11 p.m. when his friend Nike Lambayan, 18, accidentally pulled the trigger of a pen gun he was showing off.
